Mishima Yuuta is a student of Yakushi High School. He's a player of great ambition, aiming to be both the ace and fourth batter of the Yakushi High Baseball team.

Appearance[]

Mishima is quite a buffed player with a close shave. He also very defined features such as big eyebrows, noticeable eyelashes and a round face.

Character[]

He has an optimistic and victory-driven personality. He is considered dense because he can give up walks and home runs, but can come back with strikes. He also has a foul-mouth and would often shouts "Die!", which is considered a rude word in Japanese, when he plays.

Akiba Kazuma[]

Mishima and Akiba have been friends since they were in kindergarten.

Todoroki Raichi[]

Raichi enthusiastically mispronounces his name as "Misshiima," much to Mishima's chagrin. He learned baseball from Todoroki Raizou along with Raichi and Akiba Kazuma.

Todoroki Raizou[]

Mishima appears to crave Raizou's attention, as he is often seen yelling "coach!" from his position on the field, trying to make obvious appeal to his coach. Raizou criticizes him often but Mishima firmly believes it to be tough love.

Skills[]

He is said to hate losing and has talents as a pitcher. He often uses the forkball and sinker, but may prone to give up many hits and even walk-off home runs due to lack of control, especially on his forkball. However, when he pulls off a fine play, even if it was due to luck, he would gladly takes the applause and credits.

As a hitter, he is not as good as Raichi and Sanada; however, he is one of the more dangerous batters within Yakushi's line up. He is sometimes capable of making very unexpected hits.
