Mine Fujio is a journalist of the Monthly Baseball Kingdom (月刊野球王国 Gekkan Yakyū Ōkoku). He is always seen with fellow journalist Oowada Akiko to watch games or interview coaches of baseball teams. He wrote the article about then, tenth-grader Miyuki Kazuya, that was eventually read by both Sawamura and Furuya.[1][2][3][4][5][6]
