Kijima is a strong-willed individual, putting what he thinks into words with no holds barred and sometimes at odds with Asou and his friends.

Kominato Ryousuke[]
Kominato is someone that Kijima looks up to both as a person and as a player who plays in the same position. Kijima even mimic his swing after that of Kominato and adopt quite a similar play style by batting for more contact over power.
Skills[]
Despite his small stature, thanks to his agility, his defensive abilities are reputable.[1] Kijima has good contact rate which he thrive hard to develop to make up for his lack of power. He is also a patience batter and can work the count to draw out his at bat and bother the pitcher.
