Kantou Tournament is an annual baseball tournament held in May. Only the winners and runner-ups of the Spring Perfectual Tournaments in the 7 prefectures (Chiba, Gunma, Ibaraki, Kanagawa, Saitama, Tokyo, and Tochigi ) of the Kanto Region as well as the third and fourth place finishers of the prefecture-host of the Kantou Tournament are qualified to participate. A total of 16 schools participate in the Kantou Tournament each year.
