Sousei High School ( 宗星高校 Sosei kōkō) is a high school located in Kodaira, a city located in West Tokyo. They are considered one of the powerhouse teams in West Tokyo. They're a team that's famous for having a solid defense and raising good pitchers each year. They are led by Nara Kouji, one of Tokyo's top 3 defenders.
Sousei ranked within the top 16 teams that reached the fourth round in the Tokyo Metropolitan Spring Baseball Tournament hence they were seeded in the West Tokyo Regional qualifer for the 90th Summer Koshien.
They reached the quarter finals of the 90th West Tokyo Tournament, but lost to Seidou High, hence ranking in the top 8.
