Ah ok, yeah I was trying to figure out why I still didn't feel like Furuya is an Ace, but the stats back up my feelings precisely. I appreciate the reply, it helps a lot! Statistically and upward trends and stuff should show that Sawamura hasn't peaked yet, which I'm hoping to see back up the sentiment that his much deserved Ace title is earned. Sometimes I wish the games were more play-by-play so we as fans can complete said pitchers data.
I figured it's nearly impossible to get WAR from the stats but I just thought it would be interesting lol
So I know there are factors that make Sawamura better than Furuya and vice versa, but does anybody know the actual statistics of the two pitchers? What's their ERA, WHIP, WAR, etc? I've tried figuring out the statistics by box scoring the Seido-Inashiro game in Act 1 because that's the game with the most complete play-by-play but I couldn't get everything still, anybody have anything? I attached an example of relevant statistics of a player below (I'm probably overthinking all this lol ooops)
