err.. hi again. XD The Summer Koshien is a little different from Spring. In Summer, only the winners of the qualifiers get to participate (hence, only Inashiro get to go because they won against Seido). On the other hand, the Spring, besides the winner the association can invite another outstanding team to play in Koshien (which happened to be Yakushi). :)

Yeah, it isn't explained in detail in the manga/anime. So you'll have to check out how Japanese baseball works in other sources. The wikipedia is a reliable source so you can just click the link (will direct you to Spring Koshien in Japan) and find out more. :)

thats was really  unfair ha... they fought very hard to go to but the other get invited nani

Yeah really weird. Then Seido didnt need to win. Would have been invited anyway. So why did we watch a final with 10 episode of nothingness in Act 1.

Yakushi was still a bit of a no-name school back then. That's why they got invited to the Spring Koshien for their commendable performance in the Fall Tournament. If Seido didn't win the Fall Tournament, being a powerhouse school, they might not have been invited like Yakushi was.

There is a small scene in ova 5 where they show 2 people run towards yakushi coach n tell him something and he is in tears on hearing the news... guess tats the news tat they are invited to participate in koshien

Maybe cuz Yakushi only Lose to Seido that Season, they had a 34 win steak before lose to Seido in final if i not mistake, that can make the reason the got invite i think
